Job Description
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented Acoustical Engineer Consultant (at least ten years) to join our team of professionals!
Our office is willing to train the right individual in this growing discipline.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow with a multi-discipline engineering team, and be willing to have fun.
The ideal candidate will have a work history that includes management or oversight of individuals performing consulting services for external and internal clients utilizing acoustical engineering technical skills. Experience with sound level monitoring, vibration calculations and measurements, sound modeling software is best. Strong interest in the science of sound, noise, and vibration is required. This opportunity is for the candidate who can work well as a team player in a growing new acoustical group that works on projects across the world for a variety of clients.
The position is hybrid where the staff are in-person three days a week (minimum) and have the option to work remotely two days a week. The optional remote workdays of the week are currently Thursday and Friday. These guidelines are reassessed periodically.
In this Role You Will:
- Evaluating and developing solutions to noise and vibration control problems
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering design team to incorporate design and detailing appropriate for acoustical purposes.
- Acoustical modeling, analysis, and testing
- Drafting reports, letters, and other documents summarizing results and recommendations
- Project schedule and budget management
This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.

Qualifications
- Bachelors in a technical field related to Acoustics (Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
- Higher Degree such as Masters or Ph.D. (preferred)
- INCE Board Certified or Professional Engineering licensed (preferred)
- At least 10+ years of experience in Acoustical Engineering or Acoustical Consulting
- Analytical and Technical Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
