Project type include international terminal, regional airport, aircraft hangar, flight training center and general aviation facilities. Candidates will have the opportunity to manage projects and budgets with fees ranging from $10k-$1M+. Examples Of Responsibilities
- Manages engineering and technician staff to complete projects.
- Coordinates structural design scope in-house and with other consultants.
- Develops, monitors, and manages project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
- Serves as the primary point-of-contact with clients and contractors for their projects throughout design and construction.
- Develops and implements project specific QA/QC plans.
- Acts as a mentor and resource for less-experienced staff and assists with their career development.
- Attends project meetings
- Takes an active role in developing and maintaining client relationships.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum
- A minimum of 9 years progressive engineering experience
- Demonstrates leadership abilities beneficial to the company’s future
- Has designed numerous projects and followed them through from start of design to end of construction
- Demonstrates effective internal and external communication skills
- Demonstrates advanced project management skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations/deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential information
